For no reason the Clementine music player creates duplicates in the playlist. This was noticed by me on version 0.7.1

Apparently one method that works is to clear the playlist and then double click again on the smart playlist that re-displays all the library files in one playlist. All duplicates are gone now.

I don't know why this happens but the trick worked for me.
